Bristol-Myers Squibb, IBM ink $324-M outsourcing deal
Posted August 04, 2008IBM Corp. announced it had signed a 10-year, $324-million contract with Bristol-Myers Squibb to provide human resource services through IBM’s “business transformation outsourcing” center in Manila.
IBM Philippines general manager James Velasquez said IBM’s human resource and finance and administration center in Manila would deliver a suite of HR processes, such as payroll, compensation, benefits, learning, employee data management, and contact center to support Bristol-Myers Squibb’s global operations.
Under the agreement, IBM will also implement an SAP solution and integrate Bristol-Myers Squibb’s global workforce data into one portal that can be accessed by employees, managers and HR professionals around the globe.
The services will support Bristol-Myers Squibb’s operations in the United States, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Belgium. The company has 40 other country locations in Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas.
